Certain changes have been made to the new points-based immigration system by Home Office at the end of 2020. The Skilled Worker route has replaced the Tier 2 (General work visa) route. To qualify to work in UK under this category you must have received and accepted a job offer from a UK employer. Applicants can live, work and establish themselves in the UK and apply for ILR after residing in the UK for five years.
